Frank joined the Wodonga Bulldogs after a notable stint with St Kilda, where he played 17 senior VFL games. Renowned as a classy midfielder of the mid-sixties, Frank made a significant impact on the field, playing 50 games for Wodonga and kicking 15 goals. His debut for the Bulldogs was in 1964, and he quickly became a vital member of the senior side, including playing in the 1967 grand final team.
Frank’s contribution to the club extended well beyond his playing days. He demonstrated true leadership and loyalty by stepping into coaching roles, leading the Reserves in 1976. The following year, he took on the challenge of coaching the senior team after John Perry suffered a serious injury. His willingness to step up exemplified his genuine Bulldog spirit—putting the club’s needs above all.

A fierce competitor, dedicated coach, and devoted clubman, Frank’s legacy is deeply woven into the history of the Wodonga Bulldogs. His leadership and character set a standard for generations to come.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Frank’s family and friends. His legacy will forever be part of the Bulldogs’ story. Rest in peace, Frank.
