Obituary Information For Jobe Jeacock | Market Harborough Rugby Club Member
It is with profound sadness that Market Harborough Rugby Club announces the passing of our much-loved former member, player, and teammate, Jobe Jeacock. Jobe was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer earlier this year and sadly lost his battle late last week.
On the field, Jobe was a powerful presence in the front row, a formidable Prop often seen anchoring the scrum alongside his brother, Rory. Yet, he was an even better man off it. Jobe embodied the true spirit of the club—a loyal teammate, a genuine club man, and a friend to many. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

More than his contributions to the game, Jobe was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters. His family’s strength was recently showcased when one of his daughters raised over £8,400 through a “big hair chop” in honour of his fight—a testament to the incredible character that defined him and his loved ones.
We send our heartfelt condolences to his children, his brother Rory, and all his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Jobe will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Funeral details will be shared with the club community once they are confirmed.
