Coroner Identified Victim Of Fatal Targeted Shooting At Southfield Hotel
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A 40-year-old Detroit man was fatally shot in a targeted attack at the Radisson Hotel in Southfield early Sunday morning.
According to officials, Southfield police officers were dispatched to the hotel on Telegraph Road at approximately 2:47 a.m. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite medical intervention, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Investigators have since confirmed that the shooting was not a random act of violence. Police stated the incident was targeted, indicating the suspect and the victim were known to each other. This detail suggests the attack was premeditated, stemming from a prior connection.
