The communities of Cincinnati and Landen, Ohio, are mourning the loss of Jennifer Shatto, who passed away on November 30, 2025, after a short and courageous battle with an aggressive cancer.
Jennifer was a vibrant and dedicated professional who poured her passion into enriching the lives of others. As the Director of Activities and Recreation at Cincinnati Camp Cedar, she crafted experiences of joy and adventure for countless campers. Her career in creating memorable moments began earlier as a Visitor Experience Ambassador at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, where her warmth and enthusiasm welcomed all.

A proud graduate of Lemon-Monroe High School, Jennifer was a native of Franklin, Ohio, and had made her home in Landen with her beloved husband, Jason Shatto.
Those who knew Jennifer will remember her boundless energy, her infectious smile, and her profound commitment to her community. She approached her final challenge with the same bravery and grace that defined her life, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. While her time was cut tragically short, the light she brought to her work, her family, and her friends will never be extinguished. She will be deeply missed.
