Florida TaxWatch is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our longtime colleague, Susan Bittick, who peacefully left us this past weekend. Susan was a dedicated and valued member of our organization for over twenty years, contributing her expertise and unwavering commitment to our mission.
Throughout her tenure, Susan served on our Tax Advisory Council, where she was an active and influential contributor. Her insights and dedication helped shape many of our initiatives, and her loss leaves a significant void in our community. Susan’s passion for public service and her commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility made her a respected figure among colleagues and friends alike.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Susan’s family, friends, and colleagues at Ryan, who knew her as a caring and inspiring individual. Our thoughts are especially with Board of Trustees member Jeff Binkley during this difficult time; we hold him close in our prayers as we mourn Susan’s passing together.
